Sr Principal Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon; day shift with extensive domestic and international travel to customer sites.

Salary: $88,900–$116,655 per year.

What you will do

• Install, configure, qualify, maintain, and support probe card systems, accessories, and related test interface products.
• Diagnose complex hardware, electrical, mechanical, process, and performance issues in customer production environments.
• Lead onsite and remote troubleshooting, containment actions, corrective actions, and long-term solutions.
• Analyze field performance data and provide customer feedback for product, process, serviceability, and reliability improvements.
• Support new product introductions, customer evaluations, qualifications, and early production deployments.
• Provide technical guidance, training, mentorship, and documentation for engineers, customers, and end users.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, 3 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with semiconductor probe card systems, test interfaces, field service, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to work in Beaverton, Oregon and travel extensively to domestic and international customer sites.
