Process Support Engineer IV (Semiconductor)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; on-site. Travel up to 25% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $128,000–$176,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Guide semiconductor products through their lifecycle from initial concept to final qualification.
• Serve as the liaison between customers and the Business Unit, translating customer issues into applicable solutions.
• Support on-site equipment installation, system diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair.
• Optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
• Develop hypothesis experiments and design-of-experiments studies, analyze statistical data, and prepare technical reports.
• Check equipment operational quality and instruct customers on system operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high-tech industry.
• Preferred: 5 or more years of experience in applications or process engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Knowledge of at least three processes across one or more semiconductor technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex process and equipment problems and perform root cause analysis.
