System Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Salary: $120,000.00–$165,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems while contributing to system engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with project marketing and management to clarify subsystem requirements and market specifications.
• Lead architecture brainstorming and drive subsystem architecture selection.
• Analyze, prototype, procure, and qualify subsystem designs against detailed specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot difficult engineering issues involving serviceability, manufacturability, reliability, and system performance.
• Support system integration, assembly, final testing, and field support for new product designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of professional experience.
• Experience with multidisciplinary systems involving electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design.
• Ability to perform engineering analysis, architecture evaluation, prototype qualification, and reliability testing.
• Ability to work in Tempe, Arizona; relocation is eligible.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
