System Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Tempe, AZ; onsite role with remote and onsite support for field personnel as required; travel required up to 10% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $120,000.00–$165,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems while contributing to system engineering specifications and ensuring compliance with market requirements.
• Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand subsystem requirements.
• Lead architecture brainstorming and system-process activities to select final subsystem architectures.
• Perform multidisciplinary engineering analysis, evaluate design approaches, and recommend system solutions.
• Build and qualify prototypes or test outsourced subsystems for compliance with detailed specifications.
• Troubleshoot engineering problems, support system integration and final testing, perform reliability testing, and coordinate field support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–7 years of experience required.
• Experience contributing to system engineering projects involving electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design.
• Ability to understand system-level implications, design concepts, and functional requirements across multiple technical disciplines.
• Ability to address serviceability and manufacturability and to support system integration, assembly, and final product testing.
