Maintenance I - 6PM-6AM, 1-3-3

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio 44077, USA. Full-time onsite role. Training begins on an 8-hour Monday-Friday day shift, followed by a 12-hour fixed D Team schedule from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on a 1-3-3 rotation.

What you will do

• Repair, maintain, install, and prepare manufacturing machinery, production equipment, and facility systems.
• Locate and diagnose mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system failures.
• Troubleshoot motors, conveyors, automated machines, panels, relays, circuit breakers, sensors, drives, and communication systems.
• Use schematics, drawings, manuals, testing instruments, hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring instruments to complete repairs.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, maintain repair logs, order replacement parts, and report shift performance metrics.
• Support engineers, production teams, contractors, and other maintenance staff while maintaining a safe and organized facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months of employment with hirify.global; equipment or process troubleshooting experience is beneficial.
• Effective written and verbal communication, computer skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, work collaboratively, cross-train, and support team and site goals.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests, and ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of the 60-week hirify.global Operator to Maintenance Technician Training Program is required.

Nice to have

• Trade school certification or an associate degree in industrial maintenance.
• Equivalent journeyman-level training and experience.
