Field Service Technician (Fuel Cell)

Location: Washington Court House, Ohio 43160, United States; full-time onsite field service at a specific customer location with travel and on-call emergency support as required.

Pay rate: $24.50–$28.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair fuel cell systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, evaluations, retrofits, and software and hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency customer support, including troubleshooting high-pressure hydrogen storage, 480VAC, cryogenic liquid, high-pressure gas, and fueling systems.
• Order tools, equipment, and parts and maintain inventory and site documentation.
• Complete incident reports, service logs, maintenance records, and system documentation.
• Communicate with customer personnel, hydrogen suppliers, and regional service representatives while enforcing field safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with technical electrical coursework; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• At least three years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance.
• General mechanical aptitude, computer skills, and proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook as applicable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, time-management, organizational, and independent-working skills.

• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications.
