What you will do
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on lift trucks, pneumatic, hydraulic, dock, refrigeration, electrical, electronic, and material-handling equipment.
- Diagnose refrigeration and electrical issues using technical drawings, schematics, multimeters, laptops, and other diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment networks, logic controls, PLCs, and external I/O devices.
- Change, inspect, clean, and repair industrial batteries, including battery retention plates, contacts, cables, and related components.
- Operate powered material-handling and battery equipment safely.
- Complete work orders, maintenance records, logs, and other computer-based documentation while assisting other maintenance technicians.
Requirements
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology plus 2 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology, including automated equipment troubleshooting and repair; or 3 years of equivalent experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair automated electrical and electronic equipment.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and complete technical documentation.
- Ability to work onsite in Lithia Springs, Georgia, United States.
