Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Franklin, Wisconsin, USA; onsite night shift

Base pay: $32.95 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain plant equipment and facilities in safe and productive electro-mechanical condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, corrective repairs, equipment rebuilds, installations, and special projects.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and resolve repair issues to support production and plant reliability.
• Use root cause analysis, breakdown failure analysis, cause maps, and predictive maintenance technologies to identify failures and prevent recurrence.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, electrical and mechanical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and P&ID diagrams.
• Document planned and unplanned work, findings, and maintenance data in SAP.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Some college or formal technical school education preferred but not required.
• Must pass the plant-specific maintenance test.
• Follow plant safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, arc flash, hot work permits, confined-space procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Follow applicable GMP, OSHA, EPA, electrical, building, and environmental requirements.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, climbing, ladder use, kneeling, bending, and repetitive twisting, with continuous hand use and reaching.
