Staff Product & Test Engineer (Automotive Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead the introduction, qualification, transfer, and ramp-up of automotive semiconductor products into high-volume manufacturing.
• Own engineering support for wafer sort and final test operations, including yield monitoring, failure analysis, root cause investigation, and product disposition.
• Drive improvements in yield, OEE, retest, cycle time, equipment utilization, productivity, and manufacturing cost.
• Develop, debug, release, and optimize test programs while improving test coverage, product audits, test quality, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, Product Groups, and global engineering teams.
• Analyze production and test data using statistical and problem-solving methods to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor test manufacturing, product engineering, or test engineering in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Advantest V93000, Teradyne J750, UltraFlex, or equivalent systems.
• Strong understanding of wafer sort, final test, backend assembly, qualification, post-test processes, and semiconductor supply chain operations.
• Experience with failure analysis, reliability testing, root cause investigation, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of test hardware debugging, handlers, and prober platforms.
• Experience with C++, Python, Linux, or HTML programming.
• Experience with statistical data analysis tools such as JMP.
