What you will do

• Review and analyze defect images from diverse metrology tools to accurately classify them based on specifications.
• Distinguish between true defects and false positives to minimize noise and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Verify defect classifications in collaboration with Layer Owners to prevent over-rejection and under-rejection.
• Manage hold lot disposition and ensure strict compliance with documented Out-of-Control Action Plans (OCAP).
• Perform first-level defect analysis and document findings to support technical review and decision-making.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or Technical discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Semiconductor fields).
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Penang, Malaysia.
• 3-5 years of experience in wafer assembly processes, manufacturing systems, or semiconductor environments.
• Familiarity with wafer fabrication, assembly processes, and associated failure mechanisms.
• English: Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work in rotating shift patterns to provide continuous coverage across time zones.
