Piping Coordinator

What you will do

• Coordinate projects and material handling from manufacturing through installation, including expediting, fabrication, and field logistics.
• Check piping drawings, plans, sections, isometrics, spool sheets, and bills of materials against established procedures and standards.
• Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, spool sheets, cut sheets, complete bills of materials, pad drawings, and equipment drawings using Revit or other design modeling software.
• Prepare and coordinate Basic Engineering Packages for project transfer to the Global Design Center or other offices.
• Lead project reviews and kick-off meetings, maintain customer contact, track milestones, and provide weekly project status updates.
• Support quoting, estimating, customer care, software development, quality improvement, project closeout, and training of draftspersons, trainees, and interns.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of engineering or design experience are required, preferably in HVAC or industrial piping.
• Experience in EPC, infrastructure, or data center projects is specifically required.
• Associate Degree in drafting technology required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, and AutoCAD is required; piping software or Revit knowledge is beneficial.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and project management skills are required or preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, with less than 5% travel required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of piping specification engineering and pipe support experience.
• Experience with piping software or Revit.
