Senior Mechanical Engineer

Salary: $120,000 USD per year or higher depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead HVAC and mechanical system design for facilities, additions, and renovation projects.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, studies, and equipment selections.
• Perform load calculations, existing-building surveys, system evaluations, and code compliance research.
• Coordinate mechanical design with other disciplines and provide construction administration services.
• Lead project teams, serve as the primary client contact, and support new business development.
• Perform QA/QC and mentor junior engineers and designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical design experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, applicable codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of project management experience.
