Industrial Electrician (Instrumentation & Electrical)

Location: Fresno, California, USA; full-time onsite work at the plant

Salary: USD 35.12–43.63 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair complex instrumentation and electrical systems across the plant.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, inspections, and vessel inspections.
• Handle hazardous waste according to OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, and HAZWOPER guidelines.
• Maintain process-equipment inventory and ensure parts availability.
• Support turnarounds, confined-space entry, lockout/tagout, and other site projects.
• Participate in emergency response efforts and support the plant safety program while working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training and verifiable work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, analytical, and communication skills with basic computer literacy.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Medical clearance to use SCBA and other respiratory equipment.

Nice to have

• Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control.
• Experience with controls, emergency response, or process improvement.
