Human Resources Business Partner (HR)

Location: Hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in the Everett, Washington office; typical schedule is 8 AM–5 PM PST.

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with leaders and employees across Washington business units.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, team development, and organizational change.
• Lead workplace investigations, manage grievances, track trends, and provide compliant recommendations.
• Support onboarding and development of new leaders through guidance on HR policies, benefits, compliance, and people practices.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams to deliver consistent HR support.
• Use workforce data and insights to support planning, performance, and retention decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of HR Business Partner experience supporting large, non-exempt employee populations.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, compensation, investigations, coaching, employee development, and organizational development.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, multi-state compliance, and diversity and inclusion.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with 2–3 office days in Everett, Washington.

Nice to have

• Power BI experience.
• Experience with Workday, UltiPro, or similar HRIS platforms, plus ATS or LMS familiarity.
• Healthcare, human services, or other regulated multi-state industry experience.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
• Coaching, mediation, or project management credentials.
