Senior HR Business Partner (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States. Hybrid schedule with in-person time for employees living within 30 miles of an office location; remote-first flexibility is available outside that range.

What you will do

• Advise leaders on organization design, role clarity, team effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent priorities.
• Coach managers and employees through performance, feedback, conflict, attendance, accommodations, leave, conduct, and workplace concerns.
• Lead performance reviews, goal setting, talent reviews, succession planning, development planning, promotions, and corrective action.
• Partner with People leadership and Finance on compensation planning, job leveling, pay decisions, promotions, and retention actions.
• Plan and execute reorganizations, leadership transitions, offboarding, and termination processes.
• Use workforce data and employee feedback to identify organizational risks, engagement trends, attrition, and manager effectiveness issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including substantial HRBP, People Partner, or broad HR generalist experience.
• Experience advising senior leaders and coaching managers through complex employee relations, performance, organizational, and talent decisions.
• Working knowledge of California and multi-state U.S. employment practices.
• Experience with performance reviews, compensation planning, promotions, talent reviews, engagement, workforce planning, and headcount management.
• Strong business acumen, analytical ability, communication, facilitation, judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
