What you will do
- Analyze technical data, contractual documents, usage information, and maintenance practices to define spares provisioning and repair requirements.
- Execute and track logistics supportability development across the system lifecycle, including supply support, provisioning, and maintenance activities.
- Develop logistics plans and conduct sustainment, distribution, and network studies to improve delivery timelines and supply chain performance.
- Monitor inventory and demand, recommending strategies to meet program requirements.
- Oversee configuration management, inter-agency coordination, resource planning, and program execution.
- Brief senior stakeholders, advise Product Directorate leadership, mentor project teams, and serve as a customer contact for assigned logistics areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or a related discipline; 15–20 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in logistics, acquisition, sustainment, provisioning, or maintenance planning within defense or aerospace environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in DoD, agency, and industry standards and in interpreting engineering and technical requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing complex, high-visibility projects and preparing documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and briefings using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
