Civil Engineering Intern (Civil Engineering)

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days per week in the office

Compensation: $47,959–$54,498 per year

What you will do

• Assist with civil engineering projects from conceptual design through completion.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, narratives, development applications, proposals, and project documentation.
• Contribute to engineering designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Apply current engineering standards and procedures to assigned projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Degree must be from an ABET-accredited university or an NCEES-equivalent institution.
• Ability to work in the Harrisburg office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or Open Roads Designer.
• Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.
• Availability for at least 3 months and, preferably, full-time participation during the internship.
