Commissioning Engineer for PreFab (Prefabricated Data Center Modules)

Location: On-site across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, and Germany. International travel is required for 70% or more of working time. Work follows a 3-weeks-on/1-week-off rotation.

What you will do

• Perform startup and commissioning across the full range of prefabricated modular data center equipment.
• Evaluate installation quality and operational conditions of units and systems.
• Adjust equipment on site to achieve optimal operating conditions.
• Diagnose failures and perform root cause analysis across quality, software, and operational issues.
• Document test results and prepare site work reports.
• Train customers in the basic operation of the equipment.

Requirements

• Electrotechnical education; a university degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of commissioning or field service experience.
• Experience with low-voltage and medium-voltage systems, UPS, and cooling products from Schneider Electric or other brands.
• Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical skills and the ability to use measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently, analyze technical challenges, and propose solutions.
• Fluent English at B2 level or higher and willingness to travel internationally for at least 70% of working time.
