Digital Buildings Auditor/Analyst (IoT)

Location: London, Munich, Dublin, EMEA, Germany; requires 50–60% regional travel across EMEA and extensive on-site building walkthroughs.

What you will do

• Support Digital Building Readiness Surveys and deliver digital building consulting services.
• Conduct non-intrusive on-site inspections and remote network discoveries to identify IP-capable IoT/OT devices and control systems, including BMS, HVAC, lighting, and EMS.
• Map device locations on floor plans, compile photographic registers, and document network architecture and configuration parameters through site interviews.
• Maintain Digital Building Device Registers and draft DBRS Executive Summaries with complete and accurate data.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, research, analysis, proposals, and client deliverables.
• Escalate operational and cybersecurity risks and coordinate audit logistics across multiple assignments.

Requirements

• Foundational understanding of building systems, BMS, controls, or IoT technologies.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel extensively across EMEA, including 50–60% regional travel and on-site building walkthroughs.
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills for working with facilities technicians, asset managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Professional-level English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to digital building technologies, BMS, or IT/IoT systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Visio, system architecture drawings, network topologies, and floor-plan annotation.
• Basic knowledge of IP addressing, switches, routers, and the distinction between building and corporate IT networks.
