HSE Executive (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Amasya, Türkiye; relocation to Amasya is required if not already based there

What you will do

• Lead occupational health and safety processes, systems, procedures, inspections, and performance monitoring at the Amasya factory.
• Organize OHS training, orientation programs, awareness campaigns, emergency drills, and safety committee meetings.
• Coordinate risk assessments, emergency plans, work permits, site inspections, contractor safety, and compliance controls.
• Plan and support internal, external, third-party, regulatory, cross-site, and contractor audits, following up on nonconformities.
• Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare OHS KPIs, support regulatory reporting, propose safety CAPEX priorities, and integrate safety and fire requirements into new projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in occupational safety processes.
• Class B Occupational Health and Safety Certificate issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security; Class A certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OHS legislation, regulations, labor law, Social Security practices, risk analysis, inspections, accident investigations, and behavior-based safety.
• Fluent English and required Turkish language skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, strong communication and presentation skills, and an organized, disciplined, team-oriented approach.
• Class B driver’s license with active driving experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in the food production industry.
• NEBOSH International General certification.
• Class A Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
