TL;DR
Commissioning Engineer for Low Voltage Systems (LV power distribution): Commissioning and servicing low-voltage power distribution equipment, including switchboards, circuit breakers, protection relays, and Modbus systems, with an accent on on-site diagnostics, adjustments, and customer issue resolution. Focus on performing root cause analysis, preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting complex international projects during a 70%+ travel schedule.

Location: On-site work in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, and Germany. International travel is required for 70% or more of the working time. Rotation schedule: 3 weeks on and 1 week off.

hirify.global is recruiting for a global multi-energy company operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities.

What you will do

  • Perform startup and commissioning across the full range of low-voltage equipment.
  • Evaluate installation and operational conditions and adjust equipment for optimal performance.
  • Diagnose technical failures, identify root causes, and resolve quality, software, and operating-condition issues.
  • Support site interventions with Schneider Electric service engineers and partners.
  • Document test results, prepare site work reports, and train customers in basic equipment operation.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for low-voltage products.

Requirements

  • Electrotechnical education; a university degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of commissioning or field-service experience.
  • Experience with low-voltage power distribution products, including Schneider Electric equipment or equivalent brands.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical hands-on skills, including the use of measurement tools.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze technical challenges, and propose solutions.
  • Fluent English at B2 level or higher and willingness to travel internationally for 70% or more of the working time.

Nice to have

  • Experience with OKKEN and Prisma switchboards, Masterpact circuit breakers, compact devices, ATS, power meters, Micrologic protection relays, and Modbus communication systems.
  • Literacy with MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, and Power System Cx software.
