Manager Facilities

Location: Geneva, Switzerland, with responsibility for sites in Geneva and Lausanne

What you will do

• Lead facilities operations across the Geneva headquarters, production facility, and Lausanne satellite office.
• Manage maintenance programs, site inspections, facilities requests, minor refurbishment projects, budgets, purchasing, and administration.
• Coordinate external contractors and suppliers, monitor performance, and manage facilities-related projects.
• Own physical security, access control, emergency procedures, occupational health and safety, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.
• Lead, coach, and support the local facilities team while maintaining high service standards.
• Respond to operational issues and perform minor repairs where appropriate.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in facilities management or operations.
• Technical background and formal qualifications in facilities management, building services, or a related discipline.
• Fluent English and French.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, or other technical environments, including preventative maintenance, contractor management, budgeting, compliance, and health and safety.
• Strong organizational, communication, IT, and facilities-management software skills.
• Valid Category B driving licence and a hands-on approach.

• Experience in technology, research, or life sciences organizations.
• Knowledge of access control or CCTV systems.
• Experience supervising facilities or support staff and developing high-performing teams.
