Mixer Operator - 2nd Shift (Printing Ink Manufacturing)

Location: Edwardsville, Kansas, USA; full-time onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Mix ink batches according to supervisor instructions.
• Provide samples to Quality Control and make directed batch additions.
• Test and track batch temperature when required.
• Deliver completed batches to mill staging areas.
• Maintain mixers, including lubrication and blade changes, and report mechanical defects.
• Handle and label dirty solvent safely while following PPE and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• At least three months of related work experience.
• Good math skills, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, good attendance, and flexibility to work assigned shifts and overtime.
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance background and ability to participate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must complete post-offer, pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift experience.
• Background in mixing, mills, pump filters, or the ink industry.
