Sample Storage Support Specialist (Environment Testing)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, full-time. Regular schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.; training is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Salary: $17.75–$19.53 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Interpret client analytical requirements and enter sample information into the computer system.
• Coordinate client projects and liaise between project managers and Sample Registration.
• Deliver rush samples to the appropriate technical centers.
• Maintain client files, including quotes, purchase orders, bottle orders, and sample activity records.
• Unpack sample kits and coolers and support sample labeling, paperwork filing, and other departmental activities.
• Handle incoming informational calls and assist with training new and current employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills, including data entry.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, stay productive during high sample volumes, and retain detailed information.

Nice to have

• At least one year of related laboratory experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
