Sample Specialist (Laboratory Testing)

What you will do

• Move samples accurately between Sample Entry, Sample Prep, laboratory, and microbiology areas.
• Monitor sample location bins and ensure every barcode is scanned and assigned correctly.
• Communicate sample movement issues and discrepancies to supervisors and laboratory leaders.
• Support sample disposal activities and other departmental operations.
• Apply GMP and GLP practices and maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computers and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn new tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to identify and communicate customer service needs.
• Ability to walk and stand for most of the day, with bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for short periods.
• Ability to work with potential food allergens, hazardous waste, PPE, and walk-in cold storage units.
