Scientist – Pharmaceutical Process Sciences

Location: Rensselaer, NY, USA; onsite, first shift Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Pay: USD 22.50–25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine analytical testing using laboratory instrumentation, including cell culture, pH, conductivity, bioreactors, and autoclaves.
• Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to analytical procedures and internal SOPs.
• Document test parameters, observations, deviations, and results in notebooks and reports.
• Analyze large data sets statistically and draft technical reports supporting commercial filings.
• Participate in investigations and perform calculations required by test methods.
• Maintain laboratory areas and support housekeeping, quality, and productivity standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related life sciences field.
• Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical testing.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to perform precise laboratory tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented approach to safety and quality.
• Ability to understand analytical procedures, client-supplied methods, compendia, and internal SOPs.
