Crisis Intervention Specialist (Mental Health)

What you will do

• Monitor crisis queues for clients receiving individual, family, and group therapy.
• Respond to inbound crisis calls with real-time risk assessment, de-escalation, and safety planning.
• Screen clients at risk of harming themselves or others and collaborate on stabilization plans.
• Document interventions in accordance with compliance standards and clinical best practices.
• Coordinate crisis triage during group sessions and consult with Care Team members.
• Support therapists, care coaches, group facilitators, and other care team members with care coordination.

Requirements

• Independently licensed clinician.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including evenings and/or weekends on a consistent basis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced mental health environment.
• Familiarity with Gmail, Slack, Dropbox, Zoom, and electronic medical record software.
• Previous crisis intervention experience is preferred.
