Commissioning Engineer for UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)

Location: Ed, Sweden; place of work in Sweden and France. Onsite work with a rotation of 3 weeks on and 1 week off; international travel required for 70% or more of working time.

What you will do

• Perform startup and commissioning across the full UPS and secure power product range.
• Evaluate equipment and system installation quality, operational conditions, and readiness for startup.
• Adjust, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain UPS systems, battery cabinets, and transfer switches.
• Identify root causes related to quality, software, hardware, or operating conditions.
• Coordinate with Schneider Electric service engineers, partners, L3 support, and customers during site interventions.
• Provide customer training and determine the required level and type of onsite or remote support.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of commissioning or field service repair experience in secure power.
• Confirmed experience with UPS systems, battery cabinets, and transfer switches.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic circuitry at component level.
• Fluent English communication at B2 level or higher is mandatory.
• Ability to use AutoCAD, MS Office, and Acrobat; flexibility, reliability, customer focus, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with installation and commissioning in data centers.
