Technical Engineer, Cold Chain, France (Refrigeration)

Location: Écully, France; field-based support across France with remote and onsite customer support and regular site visits.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical interface between OEM R&D teams and internal engineering teams during new product development.
• Support refrigeration system specification, design, selection, customer integration, and application activities.
• Provide technical guidance, product demonstrations, and technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Assist with refrigeration system implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field application documentation.
• Engage strategic and high-profile customer accounts through regular communication and site visits.
• Monitor refrigeration regulations, industry trends, and emerging technologies while sharing field knowledge with Technical Sales Engineers.

Requirements

• Experience in refrigeration, cold chain, or commercial cooling applications.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration system applications and customer integration requirements.
• Experience supporting OEMs, contractors, or end users in the refrigeration market.
• Strong technical problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to provide remote and onsite customer support in a field-based role.
• Fluent French is essential, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in France.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration systems.
• Previous experience as an Application Engineer or Technical Sales Engineer.
• Experience supporting key or strategic customer accounts.
• Autonomy and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of the French cold chain or refrigeration market.
