Regional Service Representative for UPS (Secure Power)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; remote working model with professional onsite services and international travel for 70% of working time.

Salary: Up to €50,000 gross annual on a permanent contract, or a freelance contract of up to €55/hour. Additional €60 per day for food; travel and accommodation expenses covered.

What you will do

• Perform startup and commissioning across the secure power UPS product range.
• Evaluate equipment and system installation quality, connections, assembly, and readiness for startup.
• Perform onsite adjustments to bring UPS units to optimal operating conditions.
• Support customers with UPS installation, modification, repair, and technical onsite issues.
• Supervise installation activities for complex and critical secure power projects, mainly in data centers.
• Identify quality, software, and operational-condition failures through root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 4 years of commissioning or field service repair experience in secure power.
• Confirmed experience with UPS, battery cabinets, and transfer switches.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Acrobat.
• Fluent English communication at B2 level or higher.
• Willingness to travel internationally for 70% of working time.
