Service Operations Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate service and reconditioning department operations.
• Optimize sales performance, cost controls, profitability, and administrative processes.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
• Lead, motivate, and develop managers and associates.
• Manage dealership equipment upkeep and procurement.
• Evaluate operational plans and policies, recommend improvements, and collaborate with marketing on campaigns.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience focused on automotive operations.
• Experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Master Technician.
• Proven automotive retail service or reconditioning management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to travel on nights and weekends for store visits, seminars, training sessions, and related events.
