Associate Chemistry - Environment Testing - Water Quality - 1st Shift, M-F (Water Quality)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, 1st shift Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: USD 18–20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform skilled analytical procedures for water-quality testing accurately and precisely without supervision.
• Apply GMP and GLP requirements and maintain strong quality-control performance.
• Write and update SOPs and analytical methods, and learn new analyses with minimal guidance.
• Understand and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and procedures.
• Verify analyses, communicate results and interpretations to clients, and help coordinate work to meet laboratory turnaround times.
• Train colleagues in analytical procedures, instrumentation, principles, and safety practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may substitute.
• Laboratory benchwork and instrumentation experience is preferred.
• Computer skills, problem-solving ability, statistical understanding, and strong writing skills.
• Ability to stand at a laboratory bench for extended periods.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
