Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 75,000–90,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare quarterly consolidated forecasts, annual budgets, and longer-term financial plans.
• Analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying operational and financial drivers.
• Maintain financial models covering revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and related metrics.
• Support consolidated financial statements, MD&A, note disclosures, management reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations.
• Coordinate with operating business groups and support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SOX compliance.
• Contribute to ERP implementation, finance transformation, process improvement, and practical analytics and AI use cases.

Requirements

• University degree in Business or Finance.
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in finance, public accounting, accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems experience, including Excel integration with AI, VBA, or macros.
• Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Completed or ongoing recognized professional accounting designation, such as CPA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle HFM, OneStream, or Workiva.
