Sr. Financial Analyst (CPG): Preparing forecasts, FP&A analyses, business performance reports, and scenario models for product categories, channels, and customers with an accent on demand planning, profitability analysis, and decision support. Location: Brampton, Ontario, Canada; hybrid workplace

Salary: CAD 83,278–128,248 annual range for non-sales roles; CAD 83,329–128,327 annual range for sales roles

What you will do

  • Prepare and maintain rolling forecasts for product categories, channels, and customers using historical data, market trends, and promotional plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align forecast assumptions and demand drivers.
  • Analyze sales performance, trade promotions, and customer and channel profitability to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Deliver insights for pricing decisions, product launches, marketing initiatives, and leadership performance reviews.
  • Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting through financial analysis, scenario modeling, and business case development.
  • Automate reporting and improve dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems such as SAP.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in forecasting, business analysis, or FP&A within the CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of CPG market dynamics, retail channels, and promotional planning.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau and ERP systems.
  • Experience with syndicated data sources such as Nielsen or IRI, statistical forecasting methods, demand planning software, and S&OP processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Currently designated or actively working toward a CPA designation, with an undergraduate business degree or equivalent experience.
