Senior Accounting Analyst

Location: On-site in Montréal, Québec, Canada

What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform complex account reconciliations, variance analyses, and financial data reviews.
• Support month-end and year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Develop KPIs, reports, and dashboards to support management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies while supporting internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and leadership, improve processes, and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Experience with ERP systems such as D365 or Maximo.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• CPA designation or eligibility.
