Procurement Officer (Construction)

What you will do

• Process procurement needs submitted through ERP systems.
• Work with departments to forecast demand and evaluate inventory levels.
• Initiate RFQs, compare offers, award contracts, and administer or expedite project supplies, services, and subcontracts.
• Negotiate commercial terms directly with vendors and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Build vendor relationships, manage performance, and conduct routine business reviews covering performance and compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance.
• At least five years of experience in a similar procurement position.
• Construction-sector experience and knowledge of procurement contracts.
• Experience procuring direct and indirect materials, services, and subcontracts, with local market knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and ERP skills, strong negotiation and consulting skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in building construction or renewable energy projects.
• International procurement experience or market knowledge.
• Oil and Gas experience.
