Location: 11000A R. Sherbrooke E, MontrΓ©al-Est, Quebec, Canada. Full-time onsite role with variable day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday schedules; 40 hours per week. Travel to client facilities and occasional travel to other offices are required. On-call availability may be required.

What you will do
- Perform marine surveys and inspections of ships, cargoes, containers, ship holds, oil tankers, shore tanks, and petrochemical products.
- Collect representative samples and measure tank levels and temperatures using company, ASTM, and API procedures.
- Calculate, certify, and reconcile transferred quantities for ship, barge, pipeline, and shore-tank transfers.
- Inspect petroleum products and tanks for condition, quality, quantity, cleanliness, compliance, and integrity, including bunker tests.
- Maintain, clean, and verify calibration of inspection equipment before use.
- Complete inspection reports and forms, communicate work status and issues, and respond to client questions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least three years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience gained through education.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, complete accurate documentation, and use software such as Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a group.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, Professional Conduct, terminal, and industry requirements.

Nice to have
- Post-secondary education in cargo inspection or a related field.
- Experience in petroleum or cargo inspections.
- Interest in learning more about the marine and oil industry.
