CNC Machinist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Set up, program, operate, and maintain manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, grinding, threading, and related fabrication operations.
• Produce wire rope fittings, threaded assemblies, and maintenance-related components.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining processes; monitor production and troubleshoot issues.
• Measure and inspect completed parts, maintain equipment and work areas, and follow safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience and working knowledge of conventional machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and CAM software.
• Ability to read technical drawings, perform shop mathematics, and use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, willingness to learn, and ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Must be at least 18 and able to pass post-offer screening and a physical if required.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of hands-on CNC setup, programming, and operation experience.
• Three or more years of comprehensive machining trade experience.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk HSM CAM.
