O&M Service and Warranty Manager (HVAC)

Location: Houston, TX (TAS-Cullen HQ); a combination of office and field-based responsibilities with approximately 40%–60% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Administer warranty processes for projects transitioning from commissioning to operational status.
• Lead Field Engineers, Field Service Technicians, Service Coordinators, and Service Field Supervisors.
• Manage lifecycle service programs, warranty claims, field repairs, retrofits, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate field-service staffing, resource allocation, response times, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead troubleshooting, repairs, startup, retrofit, and maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Analyze warranty and failure data, coordinate root-cause investigations, and drive continuous improvement with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and suppliers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in field service, commissioning, startup, warranty administration, or aftermarket service operations.
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing field-service teams.
• Experience with centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings and schematics; proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to obtain applicable OSHA10 General Construction and NFPA-70E certifications.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related technical discipline.
• HVAC trade school, apprenticeship, military technical training, or equivalent technical experience.
