TL;DR
Senior Director, Marketing (Oncology): Designing and executing the commercial roadmap for the potential U.S. launch of palazestrant in ER+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer with an accent on launch readiness, positioning, customer adoption, and cross-functional commercialization. Focus on developing resource-efficient go-to-market strategies, analyzing market and competitor insights, coordinating agency and internal partners, and delivering compliant launch plans within budget.

Location: San Francisco, California; based out of the San Francisco office, with travel as needed.

Base pay: $250,000–$285,000 annually, plus equity, bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

  • Build the strategic marketing plan and lead launch-readiness initiatives for the potential U.S. launch of palazestrant.
  • Develop branding, positioning, messaging, story flow, creative imagery, and market-development activities.
  • Design a go-to-market approach focused on customer engagement, behavior change, and adoption at launch.
  • Define launch-performance KPIs and analyze market, customer, and competitor trends.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Sales, and other commercial stakeholders.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver marketing expenses within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Deep understanding of customer adoption behavior in breast cancer and regulations governing healthcare-community interactions.
  • At least 8 years of progressive commercial experience in biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical companies.
  • Successful experience developing marketing strategies and leading U.S. oncology product launches.
  • Experience using insights and analytics, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and developing strategies for competitive markets.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style with strong prioritization, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, ethics, and judgment.
