What you will do

• Sort, label, inspect, and package finished goods according to customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
• Prepare cores, operate manual packaging equipment, and support slitting, rewinding, and automated packaging operations as assigned.
• Order and verify materials, track multiple orders, run production orders, and record operating data including downtime and performance-to-plan.
• Perform routine machine setups and changeovers, assist with equipment maintenance, and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Participate in 5S audits, problem-solving teams, and continuous improvement activities.
• Communicate operational information across shifts and departments to support effective production.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Safety-focused approach with the ability to follow and promote workplace safety procedures.
• Strong service and quality focus, including root-cause investigation and timely communication.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests, and proficiency with computer applications.
• Ability to obtain a lift truck operator license and lift up to 50 pounds.
