Lead Salesforce Software Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work environment

Base salary: $110,000–$158,500 annually, plus eligible incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Design and develop advanced Salesforce solutions supporting distribution, client service, and marketing functions.
• Build with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Flows, validation rules, and event-driven or API-based integrations.
• Protect confidential client, advisor, and investment data while ensuring platform scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, Release Management, system integrators, and development partners.
• Deliver code through disciplined SDLC practices, including CI/CD, version control, branching, and release governance.
• Translate business needs into compliant technical solutions, document implementations, and improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• 5–6+ years of overall professional experience and 3–5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Expert Salesforce development skills with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Flows.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, data access controls, scalability, and performance.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems through APIs, middleware, or data platforms.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Copado, Gearset, or similar DevOps tools.
• Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification.
• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud experience.
• Experience in financial services, investment management, or institutional distribution.
• Experience deploying generative AI in regulated environments and working with AI governance, ethics, and responsible AI principles.
