Assistant Project Manager (Mission Critical)

Location: North Shoreline Boulevard, Corpus Christi, Texas, United States; onsite, full time

Salary: $84,338.82–$96,387.22 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate day-to-day construction activities with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, trade partners, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain schedules, identify critical-path activities, and coordinate materials, equipment, procurement, and trade sequencing.
• Monitor field operations, staffing, progress, quality, logistics, safety, permits, insurance documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Track budgets, project costs, work-in-place, invoices, payroll documentation, billing, contractor payment applications, and schedule performance.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, and contract documents; identify discrepancies and facilitate timely resolution.
• Support project staff through technical guidance, mentoring, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Experience supporting complex commercial construction projects; mission-critical experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction operations, construction means and methods, contract documents, drawings, specifications, schedules, cost management, estimating, procurement, and engineering principles.
• Working knowledge of building codes, OSHA requirements, construction safety programs, project budgeting, billing, and construction administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, construction scheduling software, and project management applications, combined with strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
