HV Assistant Project Manager (Texas)

Location: Full-time onsite at a jobsite in Texas with regular local and interstate travel

Salary: $97,767–$122,209 annually

What you will do

• Support the Project Engineer and Project Manager in executing high-voltage construction and operations projects.
• Review power purchase, interconnection, utility, contract, and engineering requirements to maintain project compliance.
• Assist with high-voltage budgets, forecasts, subcontractor scopes, billings, RFIs, status reporting, risk management, and change control.
• Coordinate project kick-offs, utility and owner meetings, engineering discussions, material procurement, schedule and scope reviews, and completion punch lists.
• Promote safe work practices in energized substations and maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures.
• Support project delivery against schedule, profitability, quality, customer satisfaction, and team development objectives.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in the design and/or construction of power substations.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment construction and installation, with relevant industry experience or PMP certification.
• Strong organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Texas, travel regularly, and perform physical work including lifting 20 or more pounds, walking, climbing, and working near energized equipment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
