Facilities Technician III (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States. Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government for on-site work at a government partner location.

Hiring range: $32.80–$49.20 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Respond to facilities work orders and service requests.
• Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Use basic tools and equipment safely in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
• Record completed work accurately in the CMMS.
• Provide facilities support to employees and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of general maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred; internships and apprenticeships are acceptable.
• Basic knowledge of one or more trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, and simple schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, plus basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical work in varied environments.
• Willingness to participate in occasional after-hours on-call coverage.

Nice to have

• OSHA 10 certification.
• Forklift or aerial lift operator certification.
