MEP Manager

Location: Vienna, VA, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $136,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, install, start up, and commission key MEP equipment across multiple projects.
• Support preconstruction MEP information management and coordinate 3D modeling activities.
• Review MEP submittals, commissioning and load bank strategies, startup documentation, and project deliverables.
• Track MEP construction progress, MOPs, and cutover activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, commissioning agents, design engineers, and clients to resolve installation and commissioning issues.
• Mentor, guide, supervise, and evaluate the MEP team.

Requirements

• Advanced experience with MEP system installation, BIM modeling, and construction management.
• Experience with PLCs, control systems, process instrumentation, and/or building management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Science, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 8 years of experience with large commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and coordinate technical solutions with design engineers and subcontractors.
• Experience as, or in collaboration with, a construction project manager or superintendent.
