Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting (Semiconductor)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: USD 159,520–255,300 per year, plus eligibility for RSU, RCU, and cash bonus programs.

What you will do

• Lead technical revenue accounting assessments and prepare accounting memorandums for complex customer arrangements under ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
• Review sales contracts and strategic business arrangements, covering variable consideration, material rights, SSP analysis, performance obligations, channel programs, rebates, contract modifications, and principal-versus-agent considerations.
• Partner with Sales, Global Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, FP&A, IT, and other stakeholders to incorporate revenue accounting requirements into contracts and business processes.
• Strengthen end-to-end revenue processes, internal controls, governance, order-to-cash workflows, reserve methodologies, and revenue systems automation.
• Support ERP and CRM implementations and integrations, including Salesforce or similar platforms, as well as quarterly and annual close, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
• Monitor new accounting guidance, maintain policies and training materials, and mentor revenue accounting team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant revenue recognition experience and public accounting experience with a Big Four or national accounting firm.
• Extensive expertise in ASC 606 and IFRS 15, including complex revenue arrangements, technical accounting analysis, distributor and channel accounting, and revenue reserves.
• Experience designing and improving revenue accounting processes and internal controls in a global environment, including SOX requirements.
• Experience with ERP and CRM integrations, automated revenue workflows, complex contract reviews, and cross-functional decision-making.
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor, manufacturing, or technology industry experience.
• Experience with financial statement revenue disclosures.
• Experience with large-scale ERP or revenue systems implementations, including SAP S4/HANA.
• Prior people management or team leadership experience.
