Senior Finance Manager (M5) (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. Relocation eligible: No. Travel: 10%.

Salary: $158,500–$218,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

Global materials engineering company developing equipment and services used to manufacture semiconductor chips and advanced displays.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and govern global finance policies and provide technical accounting guidance on complex and non-routine transactions.
• Draft accounting memos and policy documentation while partnering with External Reporting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and regional finance teams.
• Support US GAAP, SOX, internal control, balance sheet review, compliance, and external audit activities.
• Oversee global month-end and quarter-end close and consolidation, including quarterly balance sheet and income statement flux analysis.
• Design and deliver finance policy and accounting training through live sessions, e-learning, playbooks, and onboarding programs.
• Drive standardized accounting processes and finance transformation initiatives with systems and IT, including ERP, automation, and AI enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6–10+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Accounting, Technical Accounting, or Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on complex accounting topics.
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize work, communicate complex accounting subjects clearly, and drive continuous improvement.
• Compliance with global Standards of Business Conduct and the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a multinational, semiconductor, or manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to SEC reporting and external audit processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience developing or delivering training programs.
