Maintenance Unit Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Napoleon, Ohio, United States; onsite full-time

Salary: $92,400–$127,100 base salary per year

What you will do

• Lead maintenance team leaders and maintenance personnel across all shifts in a unionized manufacturing facility.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, work orders, backlog management, and staffing.
• Develop equipment reliability and asset care strategies, analyze downtime and maintenance costs, and lead root cause analyses.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contractor utilization, service agreements, capital expenditure planning, and performance indicators.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Quality, and Union Leadership on production support, capital projects, outages, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, food safety, GMP, regulatory, and critical safety program requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of maintenance leadership experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience leading teams in a union manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
