Design Sales Manager

Location: Poway, California, USA; onsite, full-time

Salary: USD 120,000–150,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor experienced Design Consultants to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Drive revenue, close rates, average order value, pipeline management, and CRM data integrity.
• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, continuous improvement, and value-based selling.
• Partner with the General Manager on recruiting, hiring, and retaining sales talent.
• Develop sales strategies, trade partnerships, and business development initiatives.
• Coordinate with Operations to support seamless execution from sale through installation and lead sales meetings, training, and performance reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably managing experienced or senior-level sales professionals.
• Proven success coaching and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Experience with value-based or consultative selling, preferably in premium or luxury brands.
• Strong decision-making, business acumen, communication, interpersonal, and performance-analysis skills.
• High integrity, professionalism, accountability, and the ability to enforce standards consistently.
• Experience in interior design, home improvement, remodeling, or other high-touch residential services is highly preferred.
