Sales and Design Consultant

Location: 2141 5th Ave, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779, USA; in-home customer consultations required

Salary: $65,000–$200,000 annually, including commission and bonuses

What you will do

• Design custom cabinetry, closets, home offices, garages, media centers, and other storage solutions using proprietary CAD software.
• Conduct in-home needs analyses, measure spaces, and create tailored designs.
• Use a consultative sales approach to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Follow up with customers, pursue referrals and repeat business, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with the installation team and participate in meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Interior design education, direct industry experience, or demonstrated passion for home décor.
• Professional, assertive consultative sales skills and the ability to promote products confidently.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices.
• Creative, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of craftsmanship.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients of varying complexity in a dynamic environment.
• Team-oriented approach and focus on creating exceptional customer experiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, CAD, or other design software.
